Having a humble heart is all about being open to learning and being flexible, you know? Our team is always happy to work on those unscheduled shifts. We’re always trying to be open-minded, listen really well, and dive into new experiences. Plus, we make sure our certificates are always up to date, which shows how much we value continuous learning and growing professionally.
Being Responsible
We’re all about taking responsibility for what we do and making sure we get everything done on each shift. We really focus and concentrate to make sure we’re giving medications safely. We try to be on time, or even a little early, for our shifts. We’re always aware of the residents’ needs and jump on any situations that need our attention right away during our shifts.
Building Staff Synergy
We’re a team, and when we work together, we can really make things happen! We’re like a well-oiled machine, creating something truly special. We’re always looking for fun ways to surprise our co-caregivers and keep the mood light and positive.
Communication is Key
We’re all about keeping things open and honest! We make sure our shift change reports are spot-on and arrive right on time. If anything comes up, we’re quick to reach out to the manager, nurse, and family members of the residents. Plus, we’re super careful to keep our MARS info, like incident reports, vital signs, weights, and other important stuff, totally accurate.
Creating Fun, Smiles, and Laughter
We’re all about spreading laughter and making sure everyone feels happy! We’re always thinking, “How can we smile even more?” “How can we make the residents giggle so hard they cry?” “How can we create some truly fun moments?”
Creating Positive Interactions
We believe that spreading positivity is like a warm hug, and we’re always on the lookout for ways to show patience and kindness to our residents, their families, and everyone who helps us care for them. We always make sure to respect each resident’s dignity and privacy, just like we would with our own family.
Delivering “WOW” Experiences
When we shine in our jobs and it looks like we’re having a blast, that’s what we call “WOW”! We’re always on the lookout for ways to wow our residents, family, home health agencies, and everyone we meet. We greet everyone with a big smile, make eye contact, ask about what they need, remember their names, and lend a hand whenever we can.
